FAQ
WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?
I recommend booking at least 3 months before your elopement date! Couples have booked me a year in advance, as well as just a few months out - but keeping to that 3 month to one year rule of thumb ensures you get first choice of dates, vendors, locations, and lodging!
HOW MANY IMAGES CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE?
Every wedding is unique, but I generally deliver 50-100 images per hour. You can trust that I will provide you with all the special moments, only excluding duplicate images and those that don’t meet my quality standards.
DO COUPLES HIKE IN THEIR WEDDING ATTIRE?
Typically! Whether or not you hike in your wedding attire totally depends on what you're wearing, how difficult the hike is, and your hiking abilities. You will need comfortable hiking shoes either way. Changing when you reach the viewpoint is an option too! I have a pop-up tent if you prefer more privacy!
MY LOCATION IS NOT IN Minnesota or Michigan, CAN I STILL BOOK YOU?
Yes! I service the entire US and international destinations as well! You are welcome to book me for anywhere in the world! Please, don't be afraid to reach out and see if we can make it work!
DO WE NEED A PERMIT?
It all depends on the location you choose! If you're thinking about eloping in a National Park, or a State Park, you can definitely plan on needing a permit. We'll need to apply for these at least 60 days in advance, so let's plan your date accordingly!
HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I BRING?
I'm happy to accommodate up to 15 guests and find ways to include them! Keep in mind, the more guests that you add the fewer location options we have.
CAN WE BRING OUR DOG ON OUR ELOPEMENT?
Of course! I will provide you with dog-friendly location options, tips and tricks to train your pup for your elopement.
