No need for a big reception or a fancy ballroom – the natural beauty of Minnesota serves as the perfect backdrop, and the privacy of elopement makes this moment even more meaningful. I’ll capture those close-up shots of you both, swaying and laughing together in your own world. We’ll capture those joyful, playful moments – from the “cake cutting” to the laughs and icing smudges (if you’re up for it!). And we can even have a little picnic as well!

Reading your vows is one of the most important parts of any wedding day, and it’s something you absolutely don’t have to skip in an elopement. In fact, eloping can give you more freedom to make your vows deeply personal, since you’re sharing them in a private, intimate setting. We’ll find a spot that speaks to you – maybe a cliffside overlooking a lake or a secluded grove in the woods – and you’ll have the space and peace to share your promises to each other.
Since I’m also ordained, I can officiate your ceremony, making it official and meaningful. And if you want, you can spend some time the morning of your elopement day crafting your vows together. It’s a beautiful experience that can be just as meaningful as the vows themselves, and it makes for wonderful photo moments. I’ll capture shots of you writing, reflecting, and connecting with each other before you exchange those heartfelt words. You’ll have photos that tell the story of your whole day, from the preparation to the promise.
