Wedding days are magical—but they’re also busy, unpredictable, and sometimes a little chaotic. That’s why having a wedding day emergency kit is a total game-changer!
Even if you have the most perfectly planned day, little hiccups happen. Your kit can save the day so you can focus on what really matters: marrying your best friend.
Here’s what I recommend packing in your wedding day emergency kit:
For Quick Fixes:
- Safety pins
- Sewing kit (for unexpected tears or missing buttons)
- Fashion tape
- Double-sided tape (for wardrobe malfunctions)
- Stain remover pen (Tide pen or Shout wipes)
Beauty & Comfort:
- Blotting papers (shine happens!)
- Mini deodorant
- Lip balm or lipstick for touch-ups
- Hairspray
- Hair ties and bobby pins
- Pain reliever (Tylenol, Advil)
- Tums or Pepto tabs (wedding day nerves are real)
- Bandaids (for blisters from dress shoes)
- Extra contacts or solution if you wear them
Miscellaneous Essentials:
- Tissues (for happy tears)
- Portable phone charger
- Snacks and bottled water (seriously, don’t forget this!)
- Breath mints or gum
- Copies of your vows
- Any medications you or your wedding party need
Bonus Tip:
Designate someone (a bridesmaid, sibling, or planner) to carry this kit and keep it close all day. You’ll be glad you did!
