Wedding days are magical—but they’re also busy, unpredictable, and sometimes a little chaotic. That’s why having a wedding day emergency kit is a total game-changer!

Even if you have the most perfectly planned day, little hiccups happen. Your kit can save the day so you can focus on what really matters: marrying your best friend.

Here’s what I recommend packing in your wedding day emergency kit:

For Quick Fixes:

  • Safety pins
  • Sewing kit (for unexpected tears or missing buttons)
  • Fashion tape
  • Double-sided tape (for wardrobe malfunctions)
  • Stain remover pen (Tide pen or Shout wipes)

Beauty & Comfort:

  • Blotting papers (shine happens!)
  • Mini deodorant
  • Lip balm or lipstick for touch-ups
  • Hairspray
  • Hair ties and bobby pins
  • Pain reliever (Tylenol, Advil)
  • Tums or Pepto tabs (wedding day nerves are real)
  • Bandaids (for blisters from dress shoes)
  • Extra contacts or solution if you wear them

Miscellaneous Essentials:

  • Tissues (for happy tears)
  • Portable phone charger
  • Snacks and bottled water (seriously, don’t forget this!)
  • Breath mints or gum
  • Copies of your vows
  • Any medications you or your wedding party need

Bonus Tip:

Designate someone (a bridesmaid, sibling, or planner) to carry this kit and keep it close all day. You’ll be glad you did!
